Today this one published from Merck. We know those guys love their blue light photoredox. Could one of you super smart types out there figure out a way to get the radical on to copper and do the 1,4 with chiral ligands? Making this enantioselective would be a game changer. - Think of your name in lights! I know it won't be easy, but I have faith in you!
Nope not selective, and not very high yielding but they get it! It's described here, but first published here. This 1,4 had to be one of the first, ey?
